Professional Work While a student, I attained almost 2 years of professional experience at ftwo firms and had the opportunity to create museum-quality drawings for the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse.
At my internships I was able to contribute to projects in all stages of design and construction. During my internship at King + King Architects, I worked with the Healthcare and Community Studio. The projects ranged from single room mock-ups for the local hospitals to community centers to university science labs. The variety of projects allowed me to see the highly technical detailing required for spaces with strict codes and specific technology placements. In addition to my internships, I also collaborated with 2 of my peers to create museum-quality drawings for the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse. We worked with the head curator to digitize I.M. Pei’s original drawings of the museum in the style of Swiss architect Olgiati. With the guidance of the head curator, DJ Hellerman, and our professor Linda Zhang, we created sets of drawings and digital models for the museum’s 50th anniversary exhibition.
