The site is naturally sloping in different directions. The architect deliberately wanted to maintain and accentuate to this natural topography of the site, in the form of split-levels of modular units. The vast expanse of the metal finish with grooves gives a more definite and dramatic character to the exterior. Also the use of ventilation shafts has been commendably used to enhance the character of the building.

Port said is the main capital of the suez canal gulf which plays a big role in the development of the suez canal. It acts as a global city to attract international researchers,students,workers, scientists and visitors to BIC project to be a hub of innovation,bioinformation and researches. its considered as an international science destination where it can attract people all over the world to practice and innovate sustainable solutions.

West Port Said and New East Port Said industrial zone has some industrial facilities to serve several types of industries. large-scale expansion proposals for the Port is to be developed as a transhipment hub that will act as a catalyst and a promoter for the industrial development adjacent to the port. Bioinspiration by The

Namibian Desert Beetle “ and how it can be survive in the very hot desert and how it use its secret of Fog harvesting and how the shell of these insects has a bumpy surface texture, how these hydrophilic bumps surrounded by hydrophobic troughs allowed the beetles to collect water from fog in order to survive in such an arid environment. On a foggy morning, a beetle will face the wind and adopt a unique posture (Angle 152˚) with its back in the air. Water carried in on the fog sticks to the bumps, eventually forming droplets. When the droplets are large enough, they roll into the troughs and down to the beetle’s mouth.

DESIGN IDEA ILLUSTRATION

The idea of landform is to make Cut&fill to make the 3D landscape which will make the user intersting to feel different atmosphere while usning the building . The whole project is lower than the normal level by 6 meters to make the idea of escaping from the urban context and make the isolation sense inside the project and also to avoid the competition between the project architecture style and the esisting architecture context. Also to make a sense of huge mass of the tower which its ground floor level is -16 while it will be rise till 24 meters.
