1.Instantly I think of monochromatic vs. vibrancy. What I noticed most of the skateboarding pictures are lomo (all are lomo, not all are ish eye), but I also see so much vibrance in the design, I wanted to try to mesh the two in a collective way. -So you’re saying you want to infuse the vibrance of the culture in your designs. What part of the culture to which part of your designs?

2. As we continued to talk about it, the lash of the skate deck became of a lot of importance, and I also like the idea of adding something about the actual movement of pouring. -So the luidity of motion is important to the design. How will it be represented in your work?

3. Apple ads have a huge impact on me, and I want to see how if I can incorporate that in some way. -What about the apple ads? The look? Feel? (if feel, what is the feel?)

4. The indie feel and lifestyle to me are of huge importance and I like the design, I like the hand drawn feel, I like the artistic feel, I like that it feels like they spent a lot of time on it, I like that it’s new, its always different. I like the old feel, the yellowed out feel, but yet so much color, so many different hues, so that it doesn’t feel washed out, and those colors sometimes do POP. -See if you can say this in one sentence. You already have your elaboration.

5. I also like the lifestyle, they tend to like to sit outside, play, get out and play. It can be America’s favorite playtime, instead of past time.

-Anything speciic of the lifestyle that rang true to you? Will the “outside” play a signiicant roll in this design? I like the thought of play time instead of past time, what visual cues does that give you? 6. To me, I feel like the design of their board is just as important, they could sit and watch people skate while also drawing and designing, that’s why the hand drawn feel to me is so necessary.

If you think about it, you could be presenting all of these directions as concepts under one theme. What would that theme be? Like if you had to name your event what would it be? I would say go for at least one or two directions completely away from the area of skating. As we discussed, so many different people have borrowed from skateboarding culture (or those other ideas were made by skaters... Think about PIN as a urban planning irm. They are architects, how would they approach this? Know of any home designers or anything? Like Frank lloyd Wright? (I think I spelled his name correctly) how would he approach this?
