This study is carried out to identify the potential of sustainable housing implementation in Malaysia, as a respond to the environmental problem we faced today. This paper will focus on eleven case studies of sustainable housing in promoting sustainable communities as well as sustainable development over the world. This study will also prove how sustainable housing works successfully as an alternative and tools for better future in promoting sustainable communities and overcome the environmental issues globally.
