Insomnia - a Drugfree Solution Insomnia drugs are dangerous. An inexpensive new solution to sleep problems can be as effective as EEG biofeedback (neurofeedback ). Read california drug abuse and addiction Insomnia and related sleep problems affect some 35 million people in different degrees. It had been recently estimated that about one-third of most students do not get enough rest. Sleep disorders could cause many problems, physical and mental. Health practitioners and the-public do not regard insomnia and sleep problems within the same manner that they take a look at other brain problems of ADD-Autistic continuum, or depression. This problem is simply dismissed by all too many of us, however it is serious to many persons. Some such individuals already use some form of "noise generator" to greatly help them solve such sleep issues, with various success. Audio sounds such as rain on top, a babbling brook, scan or sailboat sounds, and even "white noise" (sounds like continuous TV fixed) have been used to mask outside sounds. Such noise turbine can help solve insomnia and other sleep problems. There are several medications on the market, heavily advertised on TV, that are also employed by lots of people. Nevertheless as has been reported in the headlines recently, such drugs cause a number of other problems, including confusion, sleepwalking, and even actual deterioration! Listen carefully to such advertisements on TV, and, in particular, listen for the careful phrasing of the "warnings" required by the Food and Drug Administration. Spot the "weasel wording" that attempts to pass of these serious unwanted effects as not so serious! They make such serious health problems seem "not so bad", but that is advertising and "spin". Such drugs may be (and often are) very dangerous, no matter how they make an effort to gloss of these facts. In the event that you really hear (or read) these disclaimers, consider them. Those words a few, or some users that cause most individuals to think that's not me actually mean that it may be you. You may not need to have a chance on the problems therefore casually dismissed in these ads? Have a good look at promotion and revolves. EEG Biofeedback (neuro-feedback) "training" continues to be utilized by individuals for many years now. It's very efficient, and successful in more than 858 of insomnia cases. Nevertheless, the cost of such training at $3000-$10,000 means that only the wealthy can afford such treatment. (Doctor "time" is definitely expensive.) In 2000 I started a business that leased EEG BF gear, cutting the total price to about 1/5th of the typical. But, even that left mid and low-income people with drugs as their only available alternative! In 2004, I suddenly realized that "brain training" done by EEG BF may be done by the usage of subliminal messaging. I developed an audio recording to-do this, and got more than 20 volunteers that trusted me enough to pay a fee to enter this test. The outcomes were mixed. Some problems were present in the ADD/ADHD test population, even though insomnia and depression problems were solved. In the original audio, I just tried to improve one brain wave by repetition. EEG BF, in-the usual structure, raises this same one, and also reduces or controls yet another. Another theory I'd high level in 2,000 was that raising this kind of brain wave (SMR 12-14Hz) somehow improved the brain's allergy/sensitivity answer. A few individuals in-the test reported that symptoms apart from the dilemmas recognized also solved. This shows that my theory was along the right lines. As an Orthomolecular

Psychologist, I was well-aware that such "brain problems" can be (and tend to be) due to reactions. In 2005, I invented a new examination that did both - raised the SMR brain wave, and reduced the Theta brain wave. My partner and I got over a number of volunteers (charging up-to $100 each for this freedom to make sure that they sent reports weekly for 8 weeks). This test was a huge success. Of each person who completed a minimum of 4 weeks effectively, all experienced remarkable improvement. These types of volunteers were ADHD kids, with 2 Autistic kids, and few depressives. (The depressives and insomniacs all resolved their issues within 4 weeks). That test ended in March 2006. An interesting note here - not one of the volunteers in this test asked for their money right back! Our stipulation was "money back" the 2 months assessment when they finished. That fact speaks quite loud of success. That Auditory Training program can be an even more effective solution! It includes being an audio overlay the "noise generator", combined with a subliminal message underneath that is heard by the unconscious mind. As the subliminal training actually does "brain training" in very similar way as EEG biofeedback, the soothing noise generator overlay masks outside tones. This combination has already resolved every insomnia and other sleep issue out of dozens of users. Effects speak louder than advertising. In lots of individuals with insomnia and other sleep problems of all kinds, all volunteers who used Auditory Training greater than a week or so, solved their sleep problem( s). Of course, Insomnia can also be one of the symptoms of depression. That new Auditory Training process has also solved, or at-least partly solved each of such cases as-well. One-woman lost both her insomnia and her despair, and was able to stay mentally stable when later diagnosed with cancer. The advantages of this method over EEG BF are multiple: 1. It does not need high priced equipment - a straightforward C-d player is all that is required. 2. I-t costs a tiny portion of the price of EEG BF, and much less compared to the costly drugs. 3. No bad side effects whatsoever. Positive unwanted effects are that it covers some sensitivity problems 4. You just turn-on the CD player, and fall asleep. Let us change the dangerous drugs with a simpler, cost effective way of solving these problems!
