What happens when a group of thirteen radical Jesus followers go to the nation of Nepal ready to obey God, love, serve, and bring hope to a people hungry for Good News? Well, we are about to find out! Next week I will be flying out with my incredible team to Nepal. (For more information about what we will be doing there, check out my October update.) We could not be more excited about going there, ready to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Throughout the Bible we see how simple, committed obedience to God can change the world. Noah was asked to build a boat; he said yes. Abraham was told to leave his home land; he packed and left. Joseph was told to take Mary as his wife; he married her. Jesus was sent to the

cross; he willingly died. The disciples were told to go make more disciples; they went. Simple obedience can transform individuals, families, cities, and even entire nations. What would God want to do in the world through our simple obedience? That’s a question worth spending my life trying to answer...

Honolulu Start: Kona, Hi

Travel Schedule: We leave Kona early on December 22, and arrive in Thailand on the 23rd. We will be in Bangkok a few days, (including Christmas!) then will be heading out on the 26th and arriving in Kathmandu, Nepal!

Prayer Requests: • That the final preparations for the trip to Nepal would come together smoothly, and that nothing would be overlooked. • For the traveling... safety for the team, protection from sickness, that all luggage would arrive, that we would get upgraded to first class :), etc. • Ephesians 1:17-19... for the “Spirit of wisdom and revelation, that we might know Him better.” • That Jesus would be honored everywhere we go.
