“We’re delighted to be partnering with County Christmas Fair and believe we can add real value to the visitor experience. Last year’s event was incredibly popular, which
owner, Darren Perry, contacted us, we were keen to be involved and shall be providing two free shuttle services. Firstly, from our London Road Park & Ride site and the secondly from the bus station behind Hadleigh high street. Buses will run every 10 minutes and journey times will be just under 10 minutes. If you’re going to the Hadleigh pick up, please try to walk there if possible as we are not overseeing any parking (unlike the Ipswich Park & Ride location). Our drivers will see you all soon!”

Jemma and Holly would like to express their gratitude to all their customers and suppliers for all their support over their first year, which they hope will be the first chapter of a book even longer than ‘In Search of Lost Time’! Over the weekend of 12th & 13th October 2024 Byron & The Bard will be proffering a glass of fizz (or soda for our younger clientele) and a slice of birthday cake to all our customers, together with double AWEsome stars for all our loyalty club members – new and old.

“Family businesses are the lifeblood of commerce in the UK, and we’re delighted to be part of this important celebration. Growing and developing the family business is something my brother Brad and I are proud of and of course my parents Ray and Angie, now watching from the side-lines, are enjoying the continued success of the business they founded back in 1987. Myself, Brad and the entire team feel like we’re doing them proud!”

Christmas Tree Festival at Sudbury Arts Centre (St Peter’s) 3rd – 8th December 2024
This is your invitation to take part in our Christmas Tree Festival this December.
The festival provides a wonderful showcase for your organisation, charity, business, school, church and I know that many of you really enjoy being involved. As you know, places at the festival are greatly sought after. I shall be ready to process your replies from Wednesday 9th October onwards – roughly a month away. The deadline for replies is Saturday 9th November, but apologies if we are already ‘sold out’ by then. If you know of others who might be interested, please feel free to share this invitation with them.
This year the festival will, once more, be in Sudbury Arts Centre (St Peter’s). We shall set up the trees for the festival on Monday 2nd December (YES, A MONDAY) and open to the public on Tuesday 3rd December. The Festival will remain open until 4.0pm on Sunday 8th December, a little later this year, when dismantling and tree collection can commence. The morning of December 9th will be our day to clean and tidy and for you to collect your tree if you could not do so the previous day.
The cost per tree remains the same this year at £20 for noncommercial exhibitors and £30 for commercial enterprises. As usual the tree remains your property after the event. Nearer the time I’ll ask you if you want your tree after the festival. No money will be banked before the opening unless you pay direct by electronic transfer.
Please support us again in trying to offer the town a memorable and joyous start to Christmas 2024. We can cheer up Sudbury as we bring Christmas to the town centre for all to enjoy.
Roger – for Sudbury Rotary.
