50th anniversary year begins new marketing campaign YOURS branding and marketing campaign In February 2014, HACC launched the new brand to the public, and the College began implementing it into materials, content and more in March 2014. On April 7, 2014, the marketing campaign launched to engage prospective students and point them to HACC to enroll. The campaign consisted of advertising, including: • 15-second and 30-second television commercials on cable networks (Discovery channel, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network (Adult Swim) and the History channel). They’re available on YouTube. • Billboards in Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon and York • Newspaper advertising • Radio advertising (WINK 104.1, WGTY 107.7, WLAN FM, Pandora) • Digital and social media (Facebook, YouTube, AdWords) Mailings to support the advertising, included: Postcard mailings to current students, individuals who attended HACC but left without completing, high school students, parents of high school students and individuals who have at least 45 credits and are close to graduation To support the direct mail, HACC distributed email blasts to reinforce and support the messaging on the postcards. Materials were developed for the Office of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management to use when speaking to prospective students (examples include a viewbook, financial aid brochure and transfer brochure). Billboards, postcards, email blasts, digital and social media also were used to promote the one-stop events in April and June at each campus. One-stop events enable prospective students to apply to HACC and enroll in classes in one visit. Branded templates were made available for employees and students to use for their internal communications.
