2022 HAA Leadership Christy Rodriguez, CAPS President Christy Rodriguez is the director of multifamily properties for Judwin Properties. Christy has 20 years of multifamily real estate experience in acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence, senior housing, affordable housing, value add renovations, third party management and new construction lease-ups. Christy served as an HAA vice president at large from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, she served as HAA secretary/treasurer, as chair of the HAA COVID-19 Taskforce and she served on the HAA Executive Director Search Committee. As secretary/treasurer, she served as chair of the HAA Investment Committee and the HAA Strategic Outreach Committee. As president-elect, Christy chaired the HAA Legislative Committee and the HAA Program and Budget Committee. She is a Certified Apartment Property Supervisor, as well as a graduate of the HAA, TAA and NAA Leadership Lyceum programs. Christy served as the 2021 Education Conference and Expo chair for TAA. For her efforts, she was awarded with the Frank P. Finch Presidential Award by 2020-2021 TAA President Hugh Cobb. Last year, Christy also served as vice chair for the NAA Next Gen Committee. Stephanie Graves, CAM, CAPS, IROP President-Elect Stephanie Graves is the CEO of Q10 Property Advisors, a third-party management and consulting company that she founded in 2015. Stephanie has over 25 years of experience in real estate, working in roles ranging from director of business development, vice president of training and marketing as well as senior vice president of operations for a portfolio of over 30,000 units in eight states throughout the country. Stephanie served as a vice president at large for HAA from 2019 to 2020. She has served on the HAA Board of Directors for 10 years, and she is a graduate of the from the HAA and TAA Leadership Lyceum programs. Stephanie also served as an NAA delegate. As secretary/treasurer in 2021, Stephanie chaired the HAA Investment Committee and the HAA Strategic Outreach Committee.

Stephanie is a sought-after speaker for the apartment industry nationwide. She was a speaker for the TAA and NAA conferences on multiple occasions, and she is recognized as a NAA Education Faculty member. Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in communication from St. Edwards University in Austin. Gina Erwin Secretary/Treasure Gina Erwin is the president of GWR Management. Her focus, as part of the executive team, is promoting superior performance at each community through GWR’s comprehensive management approach. Gina designs the operational guidelines for each community and directs the training and oversight of all management personnel. Her collective experience includes 30 years in the multifamily industry. Gina devises revenue growth opportunities and identifies new manpower efficiencies, elevating overall property performance. Prior to GWR, Gina oversaw operations at Arcadian Real Estate Services, ran the Houston market for Equity Residential and worked in various roles for The Dinerstein Companies. Gina has served on the HAA Board of Directors since 2018. Gina served as a vice president at large for HAA from 2020 to 2021. In 2020, she served on HAA’s COVID-19 Taskforce and served as the host for HAA’s Expert Exchange. Also in 2020, Gina graduated from the HAA Leadership Lyceum program. As secretary/treasurer, Gina is the HAA Executive Committee liaison to the Finance Committee and she chairs the HAA Strategic Outreach Committee. Gina attended the University of Texas. John Boriack, CAM, IROP Immediate Past President John Boriack is the president of Veritas Equity Management, which he founded in 2008. Veritas has won 21 industry awards, in addition to a spot on the list of “Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” the last seven years. John won HAA’s Independent Owner of the Year award in 2014. He has served on the HAA Board of Directors since 2015. In 2018,



he was honored as an HAA Forty Under 40. He served as a vice president at large from 2017 to 2018. In 2020, John served on the HAA COVID-19 Taskforce and on the HAA Executive Director Search Committee. John also served on the Harris County Housing Stability Taskforce in 2020. In 2022, John remains on the HAA Executive Committee as immediate past president and as the chair of the HAA Nominating Committee. John is an active member of his community and commits significant amount of his time to charitable work as well as ministries through his church. He is also a member of Lifestyles Unlimited. John has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Thomas Edison State College. Loyal Proffitt Vice President at Large Loyal joined Allied-Orion Group (AOG) in 2019 as president of the property management division. He has over 30 years of multifamily experience and leadership. At AOG, Loyal is responsible for the day-today operations and oversight of a portfolio of approximately 25,000 apartment homes. As part of this responsibility, Loyal is focused on making sure that the goals and objectives of the AOG investors, clients and business partners are satisfied. Loyal also oversees the support services teams including human resources, systems and IT support, risk management and marketing and education services. Prior to AOG, Loyal was the president at The Related Group in south Florida and the Chief Operating Officer at US Residential. Loyal began his multifamily career with Trammell Crow Residential as a district manager before joining Equity Residential as a regional manager, before being promoted to regional vice president. Loyal graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BBA degree in accounting. Loyal has previously been on the Board of Directors of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas and the San Antonio Apartment Association.
