Dear Hartfield Hawks! Hartfield Academy is a special place and I am privileged to serve in my role as Headmaster. From its inception, those who formed the school, Hartfield Academy is intended to be a place where academics and spiritual growth are uncompromised. No less so on the field of play! Colossians 3:23 states, “Whatever we do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord. In all things academically, athletically and artistically; let us do for the glory of God! Hartfield Academy and the staff are committed to partnering with students and parents to help ignite passion and vision in the hearts and minds of its students. On the field or court of play it is my prayer that each student will first and foremost learn to give their all for one purpose: give Christ honor. While we may not win every match or competition, as long as we keep first things first, we cannot lose! Sincerely,

Richard Burslem Headmaster Hartfield Academy

BOOSTER CLUB The Hartfield Academy Booster Club is proud to present to you the 2013-2014 Hawks Sports Guide. It is with great anticipation we look toward the 2013-2014 school year. Your Booster Club Board of Directors has been very busy with ad/sponsorship sales, choosing merchandise, planning Meet the Hawks, preparing our concession stands, and designing this Sports Guide. Countless hours have been spent ensuring the fundraising efforts of the Booster Club are as successful as possible. Words cannot describe our gratitude for the way our community and our patrons have stepped up and supported the Booster Club with sponsorships, trades, memberships, and volunteering of time. This year we introduced our Elite Corporate Sponsor program. Ten businesses from our community have stepped up in a generous way to partner with us in this program, and to them we are truly grateful. We ask that you remember all of our sponsors and advertisers when choosing where to shop, eat or play in our community. The funds and services they provide are crucial to the success of our athletic programs. If you are not already a Booster Club member be sure to join today, and jump in to volunteer your time. You are guaranteed to meet some of the nicest and most selfless people around! The lessons and experiences our student athletes learn and encounter on the field or court of play help shape and mold them to face their future. The Booster Club is committed to providing resources that not only help our student athletes succeed athletically in today's competitions, but play a part in shaping them with Christian character to be our future leaders. In His Grace,

Susan McDaniel , President Hartfield Academy Booster Club
