GVF AWARDED THE 2018 MARKETING AND OUTREACH ACT NATIONAL AWARD At the ACT International Conference, GVF was awarded the 2018 Marketing and Outreach Award. This is an international award given to one TMA that has developed and implemented a promotion; or marketing campaign that was designed to educate and inform the public, employees, tenants, and/or students about their commuting options or the broader ideas of transportation planning, impacts of transportation on the environment, or other related or concerns. GVF was selected for this award for the redesign and promotion of the weareTDM.com website. GVF recently redesigned the weareTDM.com website to include commuter information and resources, as well as the latest in transportation and TDM news. GVF’s goal was to rebrand the website to provide real-time information and current updates on initiatives occurring throughout the country. Whether this involved integration of autonomous vehicles or an innovative app that will enhance a person’s journey to work, the website needed to serve as a more reliable resource for commuters showing not only transportation alternatives but also the latest TDM and mobility news.
