We welcome you to our worship service this morning and pray that you will be blessed in the presence of the Lord Jesus. It is our desire to glorify God as a community of Christ followers who love God, love people, and make disciples because Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus or have questions about your faith, please feel free to speak with Pastor Cliff, Pastor Phil or one of the Elders. Communication Cards ~ please feel free to use these cards to ask for prayer or to update information. If you are a visitor, we would like to have a record of your visit. Cards may be placed in the offering plate or given to an usher on your way out of the sanctuary.

Adult Sunday School Classes beginning January 6th First Principles: We will be studying and discussing the First Principles of Community Purpose and Disciplined Living. Each participant will receive two free booklets, Participating in the Mission of the Church and Cultivating Habits of the Heart. Both books are filled with Scripture and relevant commentary to help our class time conversation be more meaningful and informative. It is my prayer that through this class we can help each other grasp “the breadth and length and height and depth” of the love of Christ and His plan for the ages. This class will be facilitated by Travis Phillips and will meet in Classroom A. Isaiah, God's Prophet: Can a book written approximately 2700 years ago still have relevance for us today? The answer is a resounding "yes!” Join us as we consider the words of Isaiah and what they teach us about the character of God. This class will be facilitated by Will Gideon and will meet in Classroom B."

Mission Trip to Germany I want to invite you to join me on a Mission Trip next summer. For years I have heard about the wonderful things that God has been doing in the lives of teenagers in Germany who have attended English Camps. These 10 day camps offer a rare opportunity for teens, ages 13-17, the chance to practice their English and learn about Jesus. The camps are run by Teach Beyond and staffed by North American churches like ours. There are positions available for counselors, Bible teachers, worship leaders, cooks and activity coordinators. Teach Beyond provides training for all positions. All staff must be at least 19 years old. There are 2 sessions that still need staff: July 7-21 or July 21-Aug 4. I am available for either. I would love to see God raise up a team from EGCC to staff one of these sessions. Would you pray about joining me and being a part of what God is doing in Germany? I have brochures with more information. On January 6th at 12pm in CE room 1, we’ll have a meeting for those interested in learning about the trip who might consider joining us. Please contact me if you are interested in being a part of this team or with any questions about it. Michelle Kraines at 399-6199 or dkraines@nycap.rr.com

Media Requests Please contact our Media Ministry Leader, Steve Blais, (egccmedia@gmail.com) if you have any special media requests.

Please remember to continue to pray for our Pastoral Search Committee
