Events will include a full concert line-up, Wiener Dog Derby, Gasparilla Stand-up Paddle board Invasion, Tampa Bay Pride Band, TacoFest, Beer Bars, Margarita Bar, Taste of the Riverwalk, Hillsborough County School kid performances, and much more. May 5 MERCEYME - IMAGINE NATION TOUR MercyMe’s 2019 “Imagine Nation Tour” finds the group wrapping up a three month long tour here in Florida. It continues to be a landmark year for the multi-platinum selling MercyMe. A major motion picture based on the life of frontman Bart Millard who wrote the mega-hit song “I Can Only Imagine” after the loss of his father opened at a remarkable No. 3 at the box office. MercyMe was recently named Top Christian Artist at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, was the top winner at the fan-fueled K-LOVE Fan Awards including a win for Artist of the Year and just received their seventh AMA nod. May 6 MEMORY MONDAY AT GREAT EXPLORATIONS On the first Monday of the month, Great Explorations hosts a FREE program for adults with memory loss. Participants take part in programs focusing on art, music, and movement and stress reduction and will enjoy quality time with others. This monthly event is sponsored by AARP and presented in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association Florida Gulf Coast Chapter. Additional support is provided by Harmony Home Health.
