Father’s Day is such a fun day to celebrate the men in our lives. We found a fun little craft idea that kids will enjoy making for Dad and one he will enjoy receiving, a decorated flower pot full of his favorite candy or anything else that he might like!

Directions: 1. Spray paint the pot your color of choice. 2. While the paint is drying, make the tie to go on the front. Cut a tie shape out from the fabric and then glue to poster board. Then cut out. 3. Cut out a piece of foam to go in the pot. 4. Take a wooden skewer and construction paper and make a flag to go on top. 5. Decorate flag and place skewer in the foam. 6. Using double sided tape, tape the tie on the front of the pot. 7. Fill the pot with Dad’s favorite candy. 8. Give to Dad and watch the smile on his face!

Personalized Pillow for Pa This simple and adorable Handprint Pillowcase craft project is a ton of fun for preschoolers and kindergarten children to make, and just perfect for a Mother’s Day theme unit. • White Pillowcase • Fabric paint • Fabric marker • Paint brush • Paper plates Directions:

1. Pour a small amount of paint onto the plastic plates. Bright paints work the best. 2. Have the children paint one of their hands and then press their hand print on the front of the pillowcase. 3. Repeat the process till the pillowcase is full of hand prints. 4. Once the pain has dried, using the fabric signature marker add the names to each hand print and any additional message you would like to ad. 5. Give to dad and let him kick back and relax!
