Browser Settings Please verify that the following required browser settings for Internet Explorer are set on your computer. Some settings are managed by your system administrator, so you may need to contact your OTC for help. Enable Pop-ups 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Go to the Tools menu. Under Pop-up Blocker, select Turn off Pop-up Blocker. Then from the Tools menu, select Internet Options. In the dialog box, click the Privacy tab. Under Pop-up Blocker, uncheck the box Turn on Pop-up Blocker. Click Apply and then OK to close the dialog box.

From the Tools menu, select Internet Options. In the dialog box, click the Security tab. Be sure the Internet Web content zone is selected (the globe icon). The default selection, Medium, allows cookies to be stored. You can verify cookie options by clicking Custom Level. In the cookies section, be sure Enabled is checked for Allow Cookies that are Stored on your Computer; and Allow Per-session Cookies (not stored). 5. Click OK to close the dialog box.

Enable JavaScript (or ActiveX controls) 1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options. 2. In the dialog box, click the Security tab. 3. Be sure that your Security level is set to Medium. The ActiveX controls that are necessary to launch courses are set by default in the medium security level. 4. Click OK to close the dialog box.

Allow Active Content 1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options. 2. In the dialog box, click the Advanced tab. 3. Under Security, be sure the Allow active content to run in files on my Computer box is ticked. 4. Click Apply and then OK to close the dialog box.
