Sabine Skiba discovered her love of photography shortly after graduating from school. The freelance photographer has been living in Hamburg since 2006 and focuses on fashion and lingerie photography. In her spare time she’s obsessed with travelling around the globe. And again, the camera is never missing as Sabine tries to capture as many stories about the people and their surroundings in her photos. On the volcanic island of Iceland she was especially fascinated by the game between fire and ice, and its transformation into water: the elixir of life.

Sabine Skiba entdeckte ihre Liebe zur Fotografie kurz nach dem Abitur. Seit 2006 lebt die freie Fotografin in Hamburg. Ihre Arbeits-Schwerpunkte liegen eigentlich im Bereich der Fashion- und Dessous-Fotografie, wobei sie in ihrer Freizeit das Reisen um den Globus liebt. Auch hier darf die Kamera natürlich nie fehlen, die in Momentaufnahmen die Lebensumgebungen und -geschichten von Menschen festhält. Auf der Vulkaninsel Island war sie besonders fasziniert von dem Spiel zwischen Feuer und Eis, die in ihrer Verbindung zu Wasser werden: dem Elixier des Lebens.
