Inspiration for Life; Excellence in all we do

12th October 2012

This Week Today we have had the individual and sibling photographs taken and you should have the proofs today. Please could you hand in your order requests by Monday 22 nd October. As you may remember from last week’s FroGS News we are the very grateful recipients of £2,470 from the Grendon Festival organisers, for volunteering during the festival on the weekend of 7/8 September. This is wonderful news for the school and, although we have not decided exactly how the money will be spent, the idea of ‘Trim Trail’ activity equipment is very popular. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, and to the festival for being so generous. Congratulations to everyone who was in the Golden Book this week: Lois Arnold, Joe Steele, Bea Greenfield, Fern Marlow, Toby Culverhouse, Ben Dalton, Jake Lynch, Lewis Wilkes, Vikki Yates, Dylan Jones, Ollie Downham, Imogen Walton, Eric Groves, Ellie Peach. Next week

Harvest Assembly Next Friday 19th at 2:30pm we will be enjoying our Harvest Celebration and would like to invite our parents to attend. As this is a whole school event, parental places are very limited owing to capacity of the hall. Therefore, if you would like to attend, please email the office and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please assume you place request is successful unless you hear from us. We will also be having a collection of food (preferably non-perishable) for the less fortunate, and we would be grateful if you would send a contribution with your child on Thursday or Friday. Thank you. On Monday Year 1 will be going for a walk up to the shop as part of their topic on Grendon Underwood. They will be interviewing the shopkeeper to find out about the service the shop provides for the local community.
