--Michael Clement is an Associate Professor of History and Micronesian Studies at the University of Guam where he teaches classes in World and Marianas History. His 2011 PhD dissertation “Kustumbre, Modernity and Resistance: The Subaltern Narrative in Chamorro Language Music” tells Guam history through the lens of Chamorro language songs.
