Opportunities for Involvement We're incredibly excited to announce that our Fall 2012 Committee Membership Drive is underway! This drive will last until 9/8/12, candidate applications will be sent to chairs by the following day. All are welcome to apply. Please send the below out to any lists you are a part of, and encourage all qualified people you know to apply! Want to have a greater impact and influence in major campus issues and how our campus runs? Then apply to be a member of an SGA committee today! SGA Committees play an integral role in decisions that affect all of campus and plan large-scale events. Applications can be found at www.sga.gatech.edu The application will be closing on September 8th, and new committee members will be notified by Wednesday, September 12th. SGA Member-at-Large: Are you interested in representing the entire student body in the Undergraduate House of Representatives (UHR)? Run for one of three Member-at-Large Representative Positions! Come to the September 4th meeting of the UHR at 7:30pm in the Flag Building and be prepared to give a speech about why you should represent the student body and what qualifies you. The Representatives will then elect three of the candidates to join the UHR as full voting Representatives. If you have any questions, feel free to email the Speaker of the House, Michael Mosgrove, at firstname.lastname@example.org. The mission of the committee is to create a fair, efficient, and fun environment for all athletic events and services on campus, and to promote recreation on campus. We promote Tech pride and sportsmanship for revenue sports, but also advocate non-revenue sports and serve to convey student views to the Athletic Association and Campus Recreation Center.
