Event Etiquette • Share this book and GSOFCT website with the girls. At every grade level girls should be part of planning their Girl Scout Experience. • All registration questions should be directed to the Registration Department at 1 (800) 922-2770 ext.500 or email@example.com. • If unsure what (For: Troop, Family, etc.) means in a description, see page 3, Tips for Using this Book. • Contact the program facilitator only with questions specific to the program such as attire or making arrangements for special needs. Many event facilitators are volunteers. • Plan ahead and register on time – this is the only way for facilitators to plan and prepare for the group. Be aware that some events may fill before the register by date. • Only bring those you registered for the event. • Be prepared! Check your confirmation for site address. Note that some GPS may not work in all areas. Refer to a map and bring directions with you. • Directions are posted on the Participate tab of gsofct.org. • Arrive on time. Remember to allow time for walking from the parking lot to the event site. Please respect and help the program facilitator as needed. Adults should take side conversations away from the activities. • Remind the girls that a “thank you” is always appreciated. Looking for More? Find more events for Cadettes in the multi-level section, starting on page 33. Interested in the Girl Scout Silver Award? See “Highest Awards”, page 30.
