Girl Scout Daisy Programs and Events Grades K-1 Girl Scouts of Connecticut offers council-sponsored programs and events for troops and girls. These events bring together girls from around the state to enjoy an opportunity that they might not be able to create on their own. Please note that each event has a registration deadline and some events may fill before this date. You may register for events online at or by form via fax or mail.

DAISY RESOURCES Daisy Leadership Journeys

It’s Your Story–Tell It! series: 3 Cheers for Animals As Daisies learn about animals and their needs, girls learn ways to care for themselves too. It’s Your Planet – Love It! series: Between Earth and Sky The Flower Friends take a cross-country road trip that invites Daisies to explore the country and invasive species. It’s Your World – Change It! series: Daisy Flower Garden As Daisies plant seeds and care for a garden, they explore the value of the Girl Scout Law. The Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting This three-ring binder contains information on traditions, ceremonies, how to earn petals and leaves, and other awards. Space is set aside to record thoughts and memories. GSOFCT Council’s Own patches may be found in this book or online at All Journey and The Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting books, as well as awards, may be purchased at the GSOFCT shops or online at

Event Etiquette • Share this book and GSOFCT website with the girls. At every grade level, girls should be part of planning their Girl Scout Experience. • All registration questions should be directed to the Registration Department at 1 (800) 922-2770 ext. 500 or • If unsure what (For: Troop, Family, etc.) means in a description, see page 3, Tips for Using this Book. • Contact the program facilitator only with questions specific to the program such as attire or making arrangements for special needs. Many event facilitators are volunteers. • Plan ahead and register on time – this is the only way for facilitators to plan and prepare for the group. Be aware that some events may fill before the register by date. • Only bring those you registered for the event. • Be prepared! Check your confirmation for site address. Note that some GPS may not work in all areas. Refer to a map and bring directions with you. • Directions are posted on the Participate tab of • Arrive on time. Remember to allow time for walking from the parking lot to the event site. Please respect and help the program facilitator as needed. Adults should take side conversations away from the activities. • Remind the girls that a “thank you” is always appreciated. Looking for More?
