Fire Safety Caregiver Certificate Course This course is based on the provisions of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated (O.C.G.A) Chapter 25, title 2 that fall under the jurisdiction of the Georgia Safety Fire Commissioner’s State Fire Marshall’s Office O.G.C.A. 25-2-12(b)(1)(I) (j). It provides the basic information concerning fire safety to adults working with occupants in “group day-care homes”, day care centers, and for administrators, directors, operators, and all staff of Group I-1 and Group R-4, assisted living communities, facilities, and arrangements, memory care unites, personal care homes, and residential board and care homes. The participant will receive a Caregiver Certificate from the Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner’s Office upon the passing of the test at the end of the course.
