Back for 2017 with an exciting new location at intu Braehead, arena & boardwalk, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Come along on Saturday 1st July to experience the fun and excitement of Erskine’s annual show with over 300 cars on display from old classics to super cars, live music and entertainment, car demonstrations, guest speakers, fun fair, raffles, pop up shops and much more. Cycle for Summer is back in July and August 2017 It’s the time of the year when everyone enjoys the benefits of cycling. At LEAP we’re running another take on action ‘Cycle for Summer’ challenge, and inviting local people and families to get their bikes out and enjoy cycling. LEAP will count the total miles cycled each week across our villages and keep you up to date with people’s cycling stories, blogs and photographs. Last year with Cycle for Summer, we clocked
up 1324 cycled miles in August and this summer our challenge is to reach 3000! So sign up for Cycle for Summer this year and Take the Pledge ‘TO CYCLE’! Kilmacolm Camera Club We continued our series of outings with an all-day trip to Glencoe and Glen Etive. By some trick of fate, it was a mostly sunny day, and club members were able to shoot some of the most famous, and picturesque, landscapes in Scotland. A bonus was the impressive display of rhododendrons. After the recent heavy rain, the river Etive was in full flow, and this gave us the chance to see the effect of different shutter speeds on the waterfalls (yes, it’s technical – and a little bit arty!)
