Business people play volleyball – a new way to build your brand image Employees are every company’s representatives. They are responsible for the quality of its services as well as for establishing and fostering relations with customers. Customers’ satisfaction depends on their involvement. Today, taking care of the positive image of your company is not just a matter of marketing. You need branding, marketing and HR activities as well. Companies compete not only for market share. There are more and more companies people dream to work for. Those companies very consciously undertake consistent branding activities. Not only do they help their employees improve their skills. They also offer them the possibility of participating in sports initiatives. One of such initiatives is the Beach Volleyball Business Cup, an annual tournament for business representatives and employers’ organisations. Team sports are a great metaphor for the corporate life. What counts in volleyball is commitment, cooperation, clarity, precision and power. These values are also highly regarded in business. That is why the BVB Cup organisers would like

to create a unique business culture, promote fair play and a place where business relations can be established, fostered and developed.

The Beach Volleyball Business Cup 2015 is the fifth edition of the tournament. This year it will be held on 27-28 June, on the beach in Sopot, just next to the pier. The number of participants keeps growing every year. 23 companies from 4 provinces took part in the previous edition of the event. It is for the first time this year that players will be invited to take part in open workouts. Thanks to that they will start preparing for the game as early as in March. Everything is organised in accordance with the best sports practices – there are tournament pairings and the final Winners’ Gala. The competition gives companies an opportunity to promote their brands and foster their positive image as employers. But most of all the BVB Cup helps strengthen team spirit as well as encourage commitment and responsibility among employees. And, as the tournament participants emphasise, they can feel positive emotions long after the competition is over.
