Your Questions About Scar Cream For Acne There is nothing wrong with having stretch marks. They are commonly caused by pregnancy but they can also be caused by dramatic weight gain and loss. Many men have the same embarrassment that results from stretch marks on their skin. All these conditions lead to myths, misinformation and deliberate untruths.

Possible to get an acne scar from acne cream? I’ve had mild to heavy acne for the past few years, and I was controlling it with OxyPads, but they haven’t been able to actually keep it away. So I started using an acne cream, Retin A Micro, and it sort of worked. It caused a lot of my acne to reduce in swelling, but it also caused a lot of peeling. A lot. Like I was actually peeling off chunks of skin on a regular basis. Apparently this is normal for it, okay. But I just noticed yesterday that there’s a tiny circular area where it looks like a chunk of my skin just popped right out. Seems like it fits the description of an acne scar to me. I never noticed this before, do you think it’s possible this happened because of the peeling skin? (That would suck >.>)

Serena answers: Retin-a micro is an irritant, but what caused the indented scar is the actual pimple. Always make sure you use sunscreen and try using it everyother night.

Best drugstore acne scar removal cream? I suffer from mild acne which is not much of a problem. Although I have mild acne, it leaves a ton of scars that takes ages to fade away. I wanted to know if there are any creams from drugstores that successfully help diminish scars and help improve the skin. I’m not asking for a miracle-worker, but something that I will slowly see a gradual improvement on. Any suggestions are welcome and those from your own experience are highly recommended. Thanks!

Serena answers: Neutogena products are the best, I would buy medicated soap, stuff that’s pure……..

Does Mederma Scar Cream work on acne marks? I am 17, and I’m finally growing out of my acne (my face does not break out as much anymore) so now i think its a good time to try to get rid of the marks left behind. I have very fair skin so i have light brownish/ redish marks on my chin and my cheeks and some slight indentation on my left cheek from bad acne about 3 months ago. My dermatologist told me it will take 6-12 months for them to go away. I really want clear skin more than anything. So I was wondering if Mederma Scar Cream will speed up the process and return my complexion to the way it was before i started getting acne (completely white with out any red spot under the skin). so if i could just have your thoughts about Mederma on ACNE only, please thankya

Serena answers: No, Mederma Scar Cream does NOT work on acne marks. Mederma is a joke. If you want to get rid of brownish/redish marks, then use salicylic acid and a skin-lightener like hydroquinone, vitamin C, or niacinamide.

Where can i find acne/scar creams at stores? I’ve been struggling with acne for 5 years. No it’s not the occasional pimple, it seems like a break out all the time. Some days are worse than others but it has never completely cleared up. I wash my face twice a day. I’ve tried many face washes, proactive, prescribed pills (Doxycycline, Minocycline, Spirnolactone) and creams (Retina) that don’t work. My skin is sensitive and dried out. I want to know the best yet affordable acne face wash, that’s mild and can moisturize. I have it on my face and some on my shoulders. Also a scar treatment cream for acne. Available in stores such as target or walmart. I don’t want a website, I want an opinion from experience. Please be specific thanks!!

Serena answers: Titue oil at your pharmacy.

Serena answers: Vitamin E oil is a very good natural thing to use. I had received some very serious facial scares and I used this 3 times a day till they faded. You can hardly see them now. You can get this from a health store or Pharmacy.

Sandra asks‌

Can u suggest any good acne marks/scars cream formulated for men? I want it for my elder brother? Well i don’t want any natural remedies. Please, give the names of those creams that may help to reduce the scars caused due to acne. Suggest those creams that are easily available.

Serena answers: You should really try SkinID, I started using it and saw results the first night, I kept it for about a month and never needed an acne medication again. I recommended it to all of my friends and it worked for them too. I think it works because you take a personal skin evaluation and then you
