MEET THE STAFF Simone Saunders

“Well, hello everybody, can you touch your toes?” is a song you might hear me singing to children in the library, in which case, please come and say hello! In addition to story time songs and stories, I will be coordinating library events for families including Phelps Homes Family Literacy Day (Jan.27) and Meridian Comic Book Day (Apr.13), as well as activities during March Break and, of course, the Library’s TD Summer Reading Program. The best part about working in a library is feeling so closely connected to the community it calls home: the families, volunteers, sponsors and businesses all make the library a fun space to learn and be together. Check out our newsletter or visit us online www.grimsby.ca/library and you will discover so many exciting reasons to visit your Library; or, just come by and say “Hello!” because I’m really looking forward to meeting you!
