Preparation Preparing for a telephone interview is just as important as preparing for any other form of interview or meeting. The impression you create in the opening moments, and the manner in which your present yourself throughout will determine whether or not you will be successful. Preparation checklist: • Research the company website to find out about its products, service and markets • Prepare written answers for typical questions you may be asked • Make a note of questions you want to ask • Have a pad and pen with you to make notes • Keep your CV in view, so it is at your fingertips when you need to answer questions • Have a glass of water handy • Make sure your phone is charged and you are in an area with reception
