new boy PROMO MATERIALS FOR A MADE-UP TV SHOW

Inspired by Fox channel’s new girl, we did a Filipino version that will surely tickle your funny bone. *ETC Channel is not affiliated with this project. ETC logo is used for academic purposes. Plot: The series stars Jess(Jesse Concepcion), a bubbly and funny man who was sent by his parents to the Philippines after being too naughty with his neighbours from New Jersey. His parents ordered him to stay at their old home in Mandaluyong that is now in the hands of Winona(Jeb), a Photographer who inherited the house from her parents that was given to them by Jes’ folks. Together with Winona, Mitch(Grey) a band singer and Nikka(Karla) a fashion assistant, they occupy the said house. With Jes’ funny wit, he becomes love interest of their neighbour, Che-che(Ces)

Tagline: Girls will be girls. Jess will be Jess.

The big idea: When something went mysteriously missing, there is a culprit. Surf, one of the leading detergent here in the Philippines is known for the smell it brings to the laundry of millions of Filipinos. Instead of keeping that label, the researchers repositioned this branding into its effectivity to clean clothes to compete with its rival, tide. Inspired by ‘Wanted’ ads, the series of ads carries the message that the stain is gone. In the teaser, instead of directly introducing the product, it pertains to the stain it removed. The introductory ad welcomes the product by showing it as the culprit of all the stain that has gone The sustaining ad gives way to a mother figure who is in shock that her laundry is perfectly cleaned.

Tagline: Nangunguha ng mantsa na nasa labada.

MISMO! A NON-TRADITIONAL AD CAMPAIGN(THESIS)

Mismo! is a double meaning Filipino board game composed of roletas, barahas(feature cards) and voting chip made by six thailand-based Filipino workers in 2009. I was fascinated with the game so I got it as a topic for my seniors thesis. My objective is to brand it as a pinoy board game through the use of media that promotes playing the game or integrating it in the lifestyle of the Pinoys.

I’ve always been in love with Vans shoes. When I heard that we have to design a brochure for our selected brand I didn’t hesistate to use it. In the right timing, I discovered their newest collection online was Hello Kitty and I designed these for the subject. Later on, we have to design a brochure that has post-production methods like varnish and silver foil. I picked the OTW collection for it slickness and somehow being over the top among the Vans collection. *All photos are stock. Credit to all who owns it.

CHURCH PROMOTIONAL GRAPHIC FOR THE CHURCH SERIES

The Rock Church is a Christian church initially located at Rockwell now in Makati that uses series for its Weekly services..

March Series Graphic Popularly known as the seven last words, it is given a modern feel with ‘Seven words that rocked the world’. The graphic displays the skyline of Makati to push that the ‘words’ is still carried in this 21st century life.

April-May Series Graphic Activate is a series that shows how to turn on the unlocked potential in each of us. The graphic displays negative bubbles around a positive bubble. Negative bubbles symbolizes all the hidden talents we have that can be unlocked by the steps given each week in the series.

This is a portrait rising star banner. I chose Curiosity Got the Chef because by the time our prof handed out this project the show was nearing its season 2 airing. With a couple of episode watching, I began to have interest in doing it for my prelim. Curiosity got the chef is about showcasing Filipino food and cooking it in a more different way hosted by Sharwin Tee. Launched last August 2011, the show has now ended its first season and its second season premieres this 25 th of July. New episodes are on during nine thirty of the evening timeslot at Wednesdays. Replays are on air during eight in the morning at Thursdays, six in the evening at Saturdays, ten thirty in the morning at Sundays and two in the afternoon during Mondays.

Betamax event poster BETAMAX: Awardan na to! is an event made by Project Windings in cooperation with the University of Santo Tomas(UST) Red Cross Youth Council(RCYC). The event aims to encourage Thomasians to donate blood by giving them premiums(Betamax shirt and dogtag) to be given at the Betamax event as an incentive to what they have done, not just to the RCYC but to the people they will help by donating.

Fotomasino Executive board graphic Fotomasino - The Official Photography Organization of The University of Santo Tomas held its first general assembly last August 28 at the AMV-COA Multi-purpose hall. As creative director, I was assigned to do online promotions and other creatives needed. (Too bad nothing was printed even if we have a print solutions sponsor.) All were just disseminated through facebook and via newsletter.

ZARK'S ZARK’S BURGERS REBRANDING DUMMY FOR PRESENTATION CLASS FINAL REQUIREMENT

Color black: Value, Sophistication Font: The play of shapes in a letter shows the innovation Zark’s do in its burgers.

This is my rebranding approach to Zark’s burgers, a burger resto here in Manila that is famous for its unusual burgers yet very delicious My objectives are redesign the current logo which depicts being innovative.


Assigned to our team is the Night skins collection and we agreed to do a split screen concept. We directed our models to do the same thing so that we will achieve a great result. Upon reaching the end, it will apper that they got teleported into a different place around night time.

Also assigned to our team is the wild ones collection that was made by my team mate. The concept of wild ones is translated into a bar scenario where a male animal is attracted to a female and tries to make-out with her.

Photographed and art directed the shoot for an agency that was competing for Jansport Unzipped competition in our college.. Multi-exposure concept and black and white color was initiated to show how they move with their true personality and jansport as well.
