Executive Education Certificates Planning your or your people’s professional development can be a real challenge. To help you chart your learning path, we have designed a series of flexible-curriculum certificates. Each certificate is organized around a group of core courses that develop specific managerial competencies. To complete a certificate, you take a minimum of six core courses within a six year time period. Upon completion, you receive an Executive Education Certificate in recognition of your investment in learning. The Centre for CEO Leadership

The Centre for CEO Leadership is a medium for true peer-to-peer leadership education and knowledge transfer between and among the region’s top executives and foremost scholars. It will play an integral role in developing and supporting our current and next generations of business leaders. The Centre’s value to CEOs and their organizations is twofold: first is the opportunity to participate in facilitated peer-to-peer learning with CEOs in similarly sized non-competing organizations; second is gaining access to cutting-edge research and subject experts/leading scholars, all supported by the resources and networks of a world-class business school and university. Throughout the year, the Centre will arrange and host a series of events specific to the CEO community, in addition to the production of annual white papers on issues pressing to senior leaders.

CEO Summits One and a half day event held twice per year. This event will be facilitated and will allow peer-to-peer learning through the sharing of current business issues and the opportunity for CEO peers to comment. Information on specific issues will be shared in advance of the summit to allow CEOs to delve more deeply into issues in a shorter time frame. Guests will include high profile senior and respected business leaders and academics drawn globally. The Centre will also be developing Executive Coaching Programs, Executive Briefings, and other professional development support directed at senior level CEOs.

Fee Program Content In the first residency, participants will focus on building their core knowledge of business fundamentals, and on developing key skills in leading themselves and others. Between the two residencies, participants will work on a group organizational project through a series of online discussions.

This part-time master’s degree is tailored for busy working professionals through weekend delivery of courses downtown at UBC Robson Square or at our UBC Okanagan campus. We’ve designed the MBA Part-time Program to deliver the broad management perspective, and cross-functional decision making skills necessary to tackle the most complex organizational issues. Course Location and Hours

When a team of three or more people from the same organization attends the same course on the same date, a discount of 10% off the regular course fee is offered for each team registrant. Please call to register a team.

Most courses are held at UBC Robson Square, 800 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC. You will be notified of exceptions. For course hours, please see the receipt you receive upon registering, or view the program page on our website.

Confirmation of Enrollment When payment is received, we will send you a registration number, confirmation letter and tax receipt as confirmation of your enrollment. Participants will also receive a reminder about two weeks in advance of the program.
