Distribution Source A List Periodical is primarily a digital magazine, with several different channels of distribution; however, each advertiser will receive a small amount of physical copies to distribute within a brick-and-mortar storefront. Digital channels include Apple’s iBookstore, Amazon’s Kindle Store and direct download via www.asantesalonspatn.com, www.shop-lebanon.com, www.getwithitdigital.com and www.alistperiodical.com . Online word of mouth strategies will be used to raise awareness of the magazine, as well as paid campaigns through social media channels such as: Facebook,Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
Tracking & Analytics Ad placements can link to a website, social media profile, video or any other piece of content on the web. Unlike television, radio or newspaper ads, online ads have the ability to track clicks, views, operating system, browser type, user location and more. This data can help us fine-tune a marketing message for your business, as well as accurately measure the ROI. Our magazine also has the ability to track page “flips” and time spent reading various articles. This data is extremely valuable for small businesses marketing to a small geographic area.
A List Periodical is a brand new magazine, and published our first issue in November 2013. Once we have a few issues published, firm circulation numbers will be available. Until then we estimate a circulation of 96,000 people. This number is the amount of active Facebook,Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest users between the ages of 20yrs - 50yrs. Approximately 40k male users & 50k female users within 25 mile radius of Lebanon,TN. A List Periodical is designed to fit perfectly on tablets and other mobile devices. With a variable 768 x 1004 or 1536 x 2048 resolution, the digital magazine is optimized for the iPad 1,2, Mini or New iPad models. Of course viewing the digital magazine looks great on another tablet, laptop or desktop computer via a .pdf file format. Print issues will be 8.5” x 11”. Magazine length will fluctuate between 50 100+ pages. Photos & ads should be at least 300dpi resolution. Our media partner, Get With It Digital, can help you design and create your ads. If you need professional photography/videography, website development, social media profile creation/development/ management, Get With It Digital is our preferred service provider.
Lead Time & Schedule Production and print schedules are typically 15 days out. This gives us time to schedule issues and fill key articles. Issues will be published periodically, typically on a bi-monthly basis. We want to give advertisers consistent opportunities to spread marketing messages, but we do not want to rush out a sub-par issue due to a deadline.
With any modern advertising opportunity, it is important that the target audience feels like they are consuming content they are choosing to consume. If a reader feels there are too many ads, they will quickly flip through the magazine without consuming any content. Our strategy is to include obvious traditional ads, as well as less obvious ads through sponsored articles, social media links, digital coupons and more. Obvious ad breakdown: 30% Ads 70% Content. Nearly every piece of content in the magazine is technically a marketing message, although our delivery and structure appeals to a younger audience more inclined to connect with a brand digitally.
