EB-1 Visa EB-1 Visa People designated as priority workers are the ones eligible for the Employment First Preference Visas (EB-1 visas) They are further divided into 3 categories:


EB-1A EB-1A This is for those who pose extraordinary abilities in the field of athletics, education, business, arts, or science. These applicants need to hold some sort of widespread acknowledgment for their field of expertise.


EB-1B EB-1B this for the academic, the researchers & the professors. EB-3 Visa Employment Third Preference visas (EB-3 visas) are for unskilled workers, skilled workers, and professionals.

All EB-3 applicants must obtain Labor Certification with the U.S. Department of Labor (PERM). 8.6 percent of all employment-based visas are reserved for the EB-3 visa category. There is a considerable backlog of visas for EB-3 applicants.
