Sophomores Talib Zanna, Lamar Patterson and J.J. Moore will all play key roles for Pitt in 2011-12. Zanna started 13 and saw action in 27 games last year before a broken thumb sidelined him for the season’s final seven contests. A strong, physical athlete who combines skill and athleticism, Zanna will again see action at power forward. Patterson is a physical perimeter player who will contribute at either the small or power forward positions. He has played in 42 career games and provides a unique ability to see the floor. Moore is an athletically gifted and explosive wing who owns an impressive offensive game. Moore saw action in 23 games last year. All three players will make major contributions for the Panthers in 2011-12.
