In this project, I was asked to develop my drafting skills by recreating sections and the floor plan of an existing building in AutoCAD. I visited the tea house located on the Endicott College campus and then created these drawings based on pictures I took and the overall dimensions given.

Mr. and Mrs. Jones are looking for a home that can support their needs as they age, and can support their family oriented life style. A flower embodies their specific, and delicate living conditions that they are looking for in their new home.

2. Residential Design for Aging in Place - Hand Rendering/ AutoCad This is my first design project. I designed a one story home for a couple who planned on aging in place. This design was influenced by the historical Gothic design style and is also ADA compliant.

3. Residential Design for ASD - Hand Rendering For this project, I designed a home for a family including a young boy with Autism. This project required a significant amount of research for the family’s needs. FLOOR 1: SCALE 1/4” = 1’-0”

As I was being introduced to SketchUp, I was asked to create a cafe in a way that interested me. I decided to create a fun cafe that felt like it was designed in the 1950’s. The rendering was done in LightUp.

5. Retail Design - Sketchup For this project, I was asked to select any Etsy shop with strong branding and design their first retail space in SketchUp. I selected an earthy ceramics shop and designed a space where customers could purchase pre-made items, customize gifts and wrappings, watch the ceramics being made, and take lessons.


6. Retail Impulse Fixture/ Cashwrap Design - Revit Impulse Fixture

Power Wall

This project was a competition to create a cashwrap impulse fixture and power wall design for The Body Shop through the PAVE Globalshop competition. My partner and I created a design that reflected The Body Shop’s connection to nature and their customers. We awarded an honorable mention for our cashwrap fixture design.


7. Reception Desk Design - Revit This project was an introduction to the program Revit. I was asked to design a custom reception desk for a preexisting company of my choice. The company I designed for was Dunkin’ Donuts.


8. Recreation of an Interior Image - Revit Original Image

Recreation

Selected for display in the 2018 Endicott College Student Exhibition For this project, I was asked to select a complicated interior image and rebuild it in Revit so that the scene would match the original image.


9. Small Reception Design - Revit For this project, I was asked to design a reception area for an existing company. This project location was in Boston, MA and the design goals were to make the space feel traditional to New England while being elegant but casual. The ceiling needed to be perceived as lower and the space to feel longer than it actually was, without changing the dimensions of the space.


10. Hand Renderings - Mixed Media

These are examples of my hand rendering work that consist of marker, colored pencil, and watercolor.

11. Textile Design - Adobe Illustrator This project was an introduction to Adobe Illustrator, where I was asked to design a fabric pattern. My design was inspired by the four main principles of the Martha Graham dance technique; contraction, release, opposition, and spiral. My design was printed onto real fabric samples.
