Greenwin Property Management’s 88 Erskine Ave. team in Toronto celebrates their Certified Rental Building Program achievement. The Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) continues to award the Certified Rental Building Program (CRBP) for rental housing in Toronto, with the addition of a new portfolio announced at one of Greenwin Property Management Inc.’s flagship properties at 88 Erskine Avenue. Said FRPO President and CEO Vince Brescia, “FRPO’s goals with this Program are to promote professionalism in our industry, and provide tenants with a quality assurance alternative when selecting their rental home.” Greenwin Property Management CEO Michael Bolahood said, “88 Erskine has set the highest standards in customer service for

its residents. Five years ago, we introduced a 24-hour maintenance guarantee, on-line maintenance requests, on-site programs and events and a quarterly newsletter. Today’s Certification by FRPO reinforces Greenwin’s commitment to customer service, good housekeeping and exceptional property maintenance, all of which benefit residents. I am pleased to confirm that nearly all Greenwin-managed GTA properties have now achieved Certification.” FRPO’S Director of Certification Ted Whitehead said, “FRPO’s Accreditation Program provides its members with a consistent set of standards that represent good value in rental housing for Ontario consumers. It confirms that they have selected a rental home where the property manager cares about the quality of the rental building product and the quality of service they provide to tenants. Ontario tenants are responding very favorably to the Program, as the number of inquiries on our website continues to grow exponentially.” The Program will introduce a “best practices” approach to the provincial rental marketplace, to make it easier for tenants to recognize “good” buildings and “good” property managers. For the first time in the rental housing marketplace, renters will have a quality assurance alternative when selecting their apartment home. This isn’t to say that there aren’t any “good” buildings and “good” property management companies yet to be certified, but this seal of assurance confirms these standards of practice, giving the consumer a measure of confidence about their selection. Consumers and tenants looking for information on the CRBP and participants across Ontario should visit www.crbprogram.org.
