Youth Classes App Attack! Make Your First Game App

Take your first steps into mobile app design and customize your own game app! Using a specialized game development tool, explore the world of phone-based and tablet applications. In addition to learning the basics of mobile app design and game development, you see firsthand how the world of App's publishing functions. Student created apps are accessible on a private site and can be played on any mobile device or computer. Parents may choose to publish apps if certain criteria are met and final decisions are the sole discretion of Apple of Google. No prior experience is necessary and students do not need to own a smartphone or tablet to take the class. Fee $169.00. If you love playing video games, this is the camp for you! Make your first video game in this one-of-a-kind class that shows you the crucial keys to designing your first 2-D game. Conceptualization, play experience, challenge levels, graphics and elements, music and sound, software, and simple coding are just some of the concepts that we'll explore as you learn how to really get into the game because you made it yourself! No prior experience necessary, just a desire to have fun! Student created games will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Games are only compatible on PC computers, Mac versions can be created after the class for $15 conversion fee. Fee $169.00. Ukulele For Kids

Ukuleles are a fairly simple instrument to learn to play with fairly quick rewards. In this fun and supportive class, students will gain the basic knowledge and skills needed to enjoy playing the ukulele at a beginning level. Class will cover tuning, holding and strumming a ukulele and basic chords that are used in most songs. Last class will include a performance for friends and family. Instructor has 15 years of teaching the ukulele and can provide information on locating or purchasing a reasonable ukulele. Fee $89.00.
