common space overlooking the farm.

Activities 

We hand milk goats twice a day. Guests are welcome to watch.

The trails in our woods are great for walking as well as skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Boaz and Shipman’s brooks cut through our woods and are great spots for dipping your feet or just listening to the water run across the rocks.  Additional farm experiences can be scheduled, but are not included in

the nightly lodging price, including learning how to make cheese; learning how to milk a goat; or being a Farmer-in-Training and accompanying us as we feed, move and care for all of the animals.

Farm Stand and Food Options Each stay includes a starter basket of farm fresh food, which will generally include eggs, milk and pancake mix or muffins. Our Farm Stand is open and available throughout your stay if you want to purchase food to make meals. There are always eggs, milk, chicken, pork (bacon, sausage, chops, ribs & roasts) and seasonal vegetables available for sale. If you would like to purchase prepared foods or meals, that may also be arranged. We often have pork barbecue, roast chicken, soups, pâté, and tomato sauce available.

Events Share the farm with your friends and family. The Barn’s finished event space can handle groups from 10 to 40. Great for birthday or retirement parties, workshops or business meetings. Farm tours and experiences can also be arranged.
