Happy New Year – We’re Joining SWAN! In late January, Green Hills Public Library District will become the newest member of the SWAN library consortium! What does this mean for you? Most importantly, you’ll have access to the entire SWAN catalog, which includes over 8.5 million items. You can also expect easier checkouts at other SWAN libraries and less waiting for popular materials, among other things. Another change will be in the appearance of our online catalog. Luckily, SWAN uses the same catalog interface as Green Hills, so your experience using the new online catalog will be familiar. Library staff have been working behind the scenes to get everything ready. You may notice a few changes in the days leading up to our migration at the end of January, but don’t fret—our staff are available to answer your questions and you’ll receive the same great service you always have. For more information about SWAN, check out swanlibraries.net to see all the benefits of being in a library consortium.

Parking Notice The Library’s parking lot fills up quickly, especially when there is a scheduled event. Parking in a non-designated space is prohibited as it may block entry/exit for other cars and emergency vehicles.
