Summer 2022
A centre of creativity
2
Greenfield Arts Summer 2022 We are looking forward to our summer events, projects and activities and celebrating creativity through launching the first ‘Our Place Festival’. In our summer programme we are thinking about what makes festivals so inspiring. They allow us the time to ’live in the moment’ be a part of something bigger and come together in a common creative cause. Our summer programme hopes to encompass all of those feelings and attributes so that we can explore more about our community and support each other in positive ways. Our vision is to promote and stimulate creativity, questioning and enquiry to encourage and engage our community to explore a greater understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

Our fabulous Cree men are making great progress whilst working alongside practitioner Ian Rigby. The group are busy creating an installation which will celebrate the anniversary and heritage of railways and provide artwork that can be enjoyed by our community.
Students from Greenfield Community College have been working alongside collaborative artist Richard Bliss. Our Voice’ will support students to explore the everyday challenges of living in a binary world. Students are being creative and finding new ways to connect with the world through creative learning.
The Cree Group and Greenfield Arts has recently been awarded a well deserved certificate recognising the importance and contribution of the group and the exceptional work they have undertaken in past and present.
