Members of this League’s family, I’m proud to take title of my position. As for those who don’t know me as yet, I’m your U.F.F. Commissioner, Wayne Gile. I’m one of the original Co-Founders of the United Football Federation of America. And the former Owner & Head Coach of The Florida Veterans Football Organization. In 2011, the first year of the U.F.F., “The Florida Veterans” were the Undefeated, “Florida” State Champions. 12/0. I know that everyone in our League is excited about another year of Minor League Football in the U.F.F. The 2014 Season is already upon us with anticipa-

tion & excitement for your February 8th Game Opener. As your Commissioner of the U.F.F., I look forward to working for everyone and enforcing our League rules for the 2014 Season. First of all, I would like to thank all of the “UFF Board Members”, for their dedication and valuable time donated to our League’s success over the years. There are big expectations scheduled for this 2014 Season of Events. For one, the playoffs will be “Better Than Ever”. We have outdone ourselves each and every year and will continue to do so with every season, if we all grow together. This has been mainly due to all the endless personal working hours of the Board Members and their efforts to bring the best that the U.F.F. can offer to all the teams.

Brooksville Ballers host the Treasure Coast Bengals May 15, 2014 Brooksville, Florida Going back to familiar territory was nice, but I was not there just for one team, I was there for two teams, and I was really looking forward in covering this game. Brooksville Ballers the 2013 United Cup III Champions, only had twelve players returning from last year, which may hurt the structure the Ballers incorporated into this team. As with any team, you have surrounded yourself through familiarity towards the middle of the season. You begin to know how your players work, what they can do, and what they cannot do. How they all mold together and flow evenly to form a team, and once your loose a majority of you key players in a new season you have start all over.

uffteamsnews.com

“Take those new guys and implement the same system that we implemented in last year for the guys believe in the same thing.” Williams said. Knowing that the Ballers had a slow start, with the first game a loss against the Gainesville Gators and then another game forfeited and then the next was a bye week; put the Ballers out of balance. “Better for us not to be number one and not playing with that monkey on our back, Owens is doing his thing on offense, with time we’ll just keep getting better.” Williams said Having that attitude works for the Ballers, and loosing eight players after the Gators game proved to the Ballers that a loss shows the true understanding of dedication and survival.

The Treasure Coast Bengals having a strong defensive line…could they be strong enough to get through the Ballers o-line. Bengals starting on a good winning streak hit the wall when they went up against the Orlando Phantoms. The Bengals may have pushed themselves to the limits in that game that which may have cost them this game against the Ballers. It could have been the illusion of what the Ballers ranking posted on the board and the ego of some of the players on the Bengals side went to high and they couldn’t gain the ground control they needed. Seeing the disappointment in John Chandler’s (owner of the Treasure Coast Bengals)expressions proved that his players were overwhelmed. They just couldn’t get it together. Treasure Coast Bengals take on the Osceola Ravens on their own turf, hopefully the players can bring themselves up from the loss. Alice Mary Herden
