Spring news letter from your podiatrist Whats New for Spring By Dr. Alec Hochstein

Well living up here in the Northeast is definitely getting old at this point. I think we are all ready to be done with this winter. I felt the need to try and move this winter along so I just couldn’t wait to get out the Spring news letter to all of you and tell you all of the new amenities and services that we have added to keep our practice on the cutting edge (pun absolutely intended). The office has completed its first phase electronic upgrades adding both electronic medical record, digital x-ray and beautiful high definition screens in our treatment and waiting rooms. We are proud to be 90% paperless at this point, which is streamlining, our services and freeing up our staff to concentrate on more important aspects of our practice, namely our patients, as well as becoming a “green” office. We have added the newest in laser therapy to treat numerous podiatric conditions, from fungal toenails to warts and spider veins. Continued

Spring is nature's way of saying, "Let's party! Our website has had a complete overhaul, to enhance our contact with patients, educate the public as well as make our services accessible. It is now possible to fill out your demographic and insurance information prior to your appointment which significantly reduces our wait times, which are currently at less that 15 minutes on average. Feel free to visit us on the web at: We are also in the process of bringing in an electronic foot scanner to bring the very latest in orthotic casting technology to Great Neck. This technology will allow us to scan your foot, create the custom prescription necessary for your foot and send it to the laboratory without having to wait for package pick ups of plaster casts. This will decrease our turn around times for orthotic fabrication and delivery by approximately one week. As you can see we have been very busy all winter long enhancing our offices in order to bring the most advanced treatments available,to you, your family and

your friends. We cannot wait for Washington, D.C to make healthcare better, we are doing it now, maybe one day they will catch up. Heres to a healthy and happy season. We feel very fortunate to be in our tenth year serving the residents of Great Neck, as well as the greater metropolitan area. We look forward to taking care of you for the next ten.

I found that product about one year ago, and the product is Dr.'s REMEDY® Enriched Nail Polish.
