SUBURBS BARTLETT At the northeast corner of Memphis, Bartlett was established as a farming community along the stagecoach route to Nashville. Today, Stage Road is lined with shopping, amenities, and home-grown shops and restaurants. Many industries find their home in Bartlett, convenient to Memphis with space for equipment and supplies. Bartlett remains a tight-knit and traditional community with an active performing arts scene and deep civic pride.

GERMANTOWN Germantown features beautiful homes and upscale shopping, 30 minutes directly east of Downtown Memphis. The city is known for high-achieving schools and clean, safe communities. The historic Germantown Charity Horse Show is held there annually, an all-breed show in the city’s tradition of equine training. Forbes recently ranked Germantown in the Top 10 cities for working parents. CORDOVA On the eastern edge of Memphis, Cordova is an anchor for shopping in the region, including the Wolfchase Galleria, Tennessee’s first IKEA store, big-box retailers, restaurants, and small businesses. Cordova is also adjacent to Shelby Farms Park. Its convenient location offers quick access to affordable housing, amenities, and outdoor recreation.

MILLINGTON Since 1941, Millington has been home to the world’s largest inland U.S. Navy base. It’s located just five miles directly north of Downtown Memphis on Highway 51, tucked into a scenic section of northern Shelby County dotted with peach orchards, cotton fields, lakes, and countryside. Its schools have experienced consistently positive recognition. The beautiful and eco-friendly Mirimichi Golf Course is also located in Millington, originally established by the city’s most famous native, Justin Timberlake. LAKELAND / ARLINGTON A short drive northeast from Memphis brings you to Lakeland and Arlington, offering wide open spaces and wooded properties. The area also includes convenient amenities and strong public schools, with exciting new developments underway to combine mixed-use retail and restaurants near the heart of the city, highlighting the area’s lakes and natural features.
