Celebrating community At Independent Bank, we understand the needs of our customers because our people live and work in the communities we serve statewide. Our associates are part of the resident volunteer base and also engage on boards and committees at human services agencies, arts and cultural organizations and area school systems. When we began tracking our community service efforts, we saw that our associates gave more than their time, they gave of themselves to make a positive difference in our communities. Independent Bank associates have volunteered 6,139 hours so far for 2013!
