From July 2 to 5, Berlin was the focal point for the international fashion scene when more than 50 labels presented their Spring/ Summer 2014 collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Once again, for the fourth edition, premium fashion weekly Grazia opened this special week with an exclusive preview show in the catwalk tent. The highlight of the glamorous evening was the exclusive sneak preview of 53 outfits from designer labels.

Besides the fashion show, the evening reserved many surprises for guests, from the large Graziabranded inflatable handbag installation at the center of the tent to the distribution of dog-shaped balloons by super cool Grazia Girls and Grazia goody bags full of beauty products. During the evening a special Fashion Police team took pictures of guests and gave them a copy of the souvenir photo.

After the show, the evening continued with the Grazia cocktail party at an exclusive location in downtown Berlin. Moroccan Oil, the beauty brand and one of the sponsors, even set up a makeup and hair styling area. Sipping excellent Veuve Clicquot, the Grazia team celebrated with guests the amazing success of the entire project. Claudia ten Hoevel, Grazia Editorin-Chief was quite satisfied with the results. â€œWe are delighted that so many friends, sponsors and designers came together to celebrate the opening of the fashion week with us, and we hope everyone has a great week in Berlin,â€? she said. Guests were delighted to receive a goody bag with the famous Glossy Box prepared in cooperation with Grazia at the end of the evening.
A I Z A R G @ X O B A GLAM NEON PARTY On the occasion of the â€œFluorescent Colour Partyâ€? , held at Horizen Lounge, Glamabox was one of the protagonists. After the party, photos of Grazia readers, who partecipated in the event, were posted on the website and Weibo for readers to vote and follow. Glamabox, a glamour box containing beauty products selected from multiple brand by beauty experts, provided nice gifts to the most popular top 3.

For its first partnership with a fashion magazine, GlossyBox chose Grazia! The brand has agreed to include the Grazia Beach Pocket issue in its box, which was shipped, in a special GRAZIA design, to approximately 40,000 German subscribers of GlossyBox and new Grazia subscribers. Great products from premium brands such as Shiseido, Montblanc, Astalift, Zoeva and SpaRituals were included. This promotion was backed by a strong media push through the magazine and Grazia’s website and Facebook page.
MINI BOX BY L’OCCITANE The beauty brand L´Occitane, in cooperation with Grazia Spain, organized an exclusive launch on June 18th. Fifteen Grazia Club readers and their ‘plus ones’ were invited to the L´Occitane store, where the Grazia Mini Box by L’Occitane, designed by a popular Spanish illustrator, was presented in a preview. For those who didn’t have the luck to attend this event, the mini box was given as a gift with any purchase over 15 euro, made in all L’ Occitane stores (if people presented Grazia Magazine) or at www.loccitane.es (giving Grazia code) from June 19th to July 3rd.

Skin Care Master 2013 Sephora by Lancôme Grazia and Grazia.it is the media partners of an exclusive beauty competition – the Skin Care Master 2013 Sephora by Lancôme. The contestants of this ultimate beauty challenge will use their skincare secrets to outdo the others and win the title of “Sephora Skin Care Expert”! Fifty of Sephora’s most talented skin care experts were chosen
from a field of 500 colleagues and divided into three groups. “Summer in Clinique” Summer In Clinique is a much loved concept that helps people enthusiastically embrace summer! For this reason, two of Grazia India’s favourite Mumbai bloggers invited selected readers to participate in the first “Summer In Clinique” event, where Clinique experts provided summer skincare and makeup consultations to readers at the brand’s store in the Palladium mall, in Mumbai. Readers also had the chance to preview fabulous upcoming products from the brand.

STYLE CLASSES WITH HOSS INTROPIA For the first time in Spain, 20 Grazia readers and also loyal customers had the chance to enjoy an exclusive presentation of the new Hoss Intropia collection. Readers had to visit Grazia Club and answer a question to be able to participate in. The event was held in the Hoss Intropia flagship store on Serrano street, in Madrid. While attendees enjoyed a drink, Grazia Spainâ€™s Fashion Editor presented the selected Hoss Intropia looks, worn by 12 models. Plus, with every purchase, guests received a free vanity case or a bag.

The MOST stylish reader Grazia Middle East did an exciting photo shoot with its Grazia Style Awards’ “Most Stylish Reader” in Hong Kong, where she won a shopping trip courtesy of the Hong Kong Tourism Board. The winner browsed the Hong Kong boutiques and showed off some of her favourite locally-inspired purchases. Hong Kong, one of the world’s premier shopping destinations, is perfect because it promotes local designers and provides them with special malls to showcase their works.

The 4th edition of Fashion Camp was held in Milan on the weekend of June 7th and 8th. The fashion event for the general public included meetings, conferences, bloggers and workshops. The relationship between fashion and new technologies was the theme for the fourth edition. Grazia.it was present with a special media partnership and a contest for aspiring IT bloggers that was launched at the end of May through the Blogger We Want You network. Contestants just had to interpret a photo post of one of the season’s trends. The five finalists invited to Fashion Camp posted their comments, which were voted by the public online. On the last day of the contest, we’ll choose our future IT blogger!

Grazia Poland was a media partner for the Rossorame fashion show. The Rossorame fashion show was held on June 23 as part of the Poland Warsaw Fashion Street event, which is a true celebration of fashion. IA
Stand up for fashion! Grazia recently attended an interesting event, now in its third edition: Trash Fashion Macedonia 2013â€™. This fashion show, which featured creations made of recycled materials, was broadcast online for the first time and everyone watching could vote for their favorites. Grazia complimented all the talented fashion design students who made the wonderful outfits. Bravo!
LOOKING FOR MODELS@JFW Grazia will be the guest of the models audition for the Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 in October. The Grazia JFW Model Search audition was held on July 3rd at fX Sudirman, in Jakarta. The audition was promoted through Graziaâ€™s magazine and website and on Twitter. All participants had to submit their entry forms to grazia.co.id by June 10th. The eliminated participants will still be eligible in the Grazia JFW Model Search â€“ People F*ve, voted by readers through grazia.co.id starting July 4th.

FASHION SHOW for students
On June 21st, Grazia Spain, along with 27 students from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, organized a fashion show in the university under the guidance of the famous designer Ana Locking. A professional jury, composed of designers and fashion experts, chose the best design and gave a free scholarship to the winning student. GRAZIA SERBIA
ACCADEMIA DEL LUSSO SCHOLARSHIP WINNER For the second consecutive year, Grazia magazine, in cooperation with Accademia Del Lusso, organized a successful scholarship competition for the 3-year course at this prestigious fashion school. The winner Milovan Milicevic, that impressed the competition jury consisting of Grazia fashion editor Lara Milanovic, Igor Todorovic, professor at the Accademia, and famous Serbian designer Svetlana Prokovic, got a free scholarship!

Let’s “WeChat”! WeChat, developed by Tencent, one of the largest SNS media platforms in China, is a useful and effective channel to promote Grazia brand and to interact and share news with Grazia readers. Grazia China launched WeChat account on Jan. 2013 and has already reached about 20,000 followers. WeChat is rapidily updated every day with all the latest and high-quality fashion information.
In June Grazia and Blackberry got together for a fun create-your-ownphone-case competition. It was so easy! Readers had to create a personalized design using super-chic prints from the Liberty fashion brand, which has partnered with some of the coolest brands from JCrew to Nike. Log on, drag and drop the prints, expanding and shrinking the patterns and changing colors: that’s all there was to it! Readers could give full rein to their creativity. The most creative reader will be chosen in July and will win a cool new Blackberry Z10 plus 10 cases made to keep or give to friends!
PIC-NIC EXPERIENCE From June 12th to 28th, Grazia Spain participated in â€œThe Picnic Experienceâ€?, a relaxing lunch on the ABC Serrano shopping mall terrace, in Madrid. It was an idyllic setting to escape from the stress of city life: grass on the ground, pillows for relaxing, flowers, sunny skies and tables and chairs for chilling out. In addition, there was a Luis & Tachi stand for participants who wanted their hair done, a Benefit stand for a makeover and the Nails 4 Us stand for a manicure. Plus, Picnic Experience T-shirts were sold, with proceeds donated to the Aladina Foundation.
GRAZIA LOVES LOUISE CARVER Grazia South Africa teamed up with favourite local artist Louise Carver to launch her brand new album. The talented singer went on a BlackBerryâ€“sponsored tour and fans around the country were able to join her and the Grazia team for dinner at Tashas for an evening listening to tracks from Louiseâ€™s new album. Fans were thrilled and also received a YSL and BlackBerry goodie bag. EVENTS In June Grazia organized a fashion and beauty lounge at Sochi City during one of the most important film festivals in Russia. For one week, the deluxe suite at the hotel “Zemchuzina” was transformed into the “Grazia Lounge”, where Russian celebs were invited to create amazing looks with everything from dresses to make-up for the red carpet. GRAZIA PAVILION AT ECO-FESTIVAL Grazia magazine organized a pavilion at Eco-festival held in one of the most beautiful and historical places of Moscow, the Arhangelskoe museum. At the Grazia pavilion, guests could try make-up from Yves Rocher and attend a chocolate master-class where specialists talked about the history of chocolate and showed how to make it.
PIETRASANTA LITERARY FESTIVAL
MEDIA PARTNER @ PRINTEMPS FRANĂ‡AIS Grazia Indonesia was the media partner of Printemps Francais, the over one-monthlong French art and culture festival. The festival, held from May 15th to June 23rd, was organized in 13 cities nationwide. Grazia gave away free tickets to its readers for special performances, including the contemporary dance show by French famous choreographer Jean-Claude Gallotta.
Once again the Pietrasanta Literary Festival held in the Tuscan city from June 7th to 9th reached total capacity, thanks to the beautiful sunny weather and the many events on the program with national and international authors, such as Dan Brown. For the occasion, nearly 12,000 copies of Grazia with the complete program of the event were distributed on Piazza Duomo and in top hotels in the area.
