OUR PROGRAMS Each year, Gratz College provides high quality Jewish educational programs at the BA, MA, and doctoral levels for degree-seeking students; engaging and innovative academic educational, leadership and service learning programs for 8thâ€“12th grade students through the Jewish Community High School; and engaging adult education programs that promote lifelong Jewish learning, building community by doing so. The institution is committed to providing todayâ€™s students, wherever they live, with access to Jewish learning at the highest levels of excellence. About 2,000 people participate in our educational programs each year.
JEWISH COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL • With almost 400 students, in 6 branches and online, JCHS is the largest and most comprehensive program of its kind in the nation. •J CHS is the only supplementary Hebrew high school with dedicated special needs staff. •J OLT (Jewish Online Teens) brings JCHS classes to students in 17 states. •T he large majority of students report being satisfied with their experience at JCHS. •J CHS partners with BBYO, USY, HaBonim-Dror and leadership of local Jewish overnight camps to reach out to affiliated and unaffiliated teens from across the region.
