What is it useful for? What materials are commonly used? Would you show art work on it?

Is this A-A* development work? Why?

Title and introduction Explained what aspects you wanted to test?

Development of Game Case/ Fragrance bottle/ CD album On this page I have explored how different aspects of my [product] will come together. By exploring different sub-systems I can evaluate them and find the best solution. I have focused on the ..... ……………………. as they are vital to the success of the final outcome. Look at your user and performance requirements spec critiera to identify key things that your outcome must satisfy.

Photos of your models showing how it has been used to test what you wanted to. Captions need to say this. Self evaluation against the aspects you wanted to test. What did you lean about the aspects that you wanted to test?

By modelling the bottle in Styrofoam it allowed potential users to actually hold the product and provide feedback on…………. [refer back to what you wanted to test by making a model]. You need to comment on areas to improve.

Through modelling I have learnt that the body is to chunky/slim as it does not feel ergonomically comfortable to hold. The atomiser head is too small for most users as shown in the photographs.

The logo is an appropriate size but the product information text size is too small.

You need to comment on areas to improve.

1. Through modelling I have learnt that the body is to chunky/slim as it does not feel ergonomically comfortable to hold. 2. The atomiser head is too small for most users as shown in the photographs. 3. The logo is an appropriate size but the product information text size is too small. ď ąProvide annotated designs [Hand or CAD] showing modifications based on areas to improve. Have you shown improvements to your initial ideas by developing technical details as well as cosmetic features.

ď ąAdd additional exploratory sketches to show alternative ideas.

 3rd party feedback – including strengths, areas to improve and annotated designs based on these areas for improvement. Rachael’s evaluation Strength: Ergonomically its perfect and can be used by both left and right handed people Weakness: Its quite plain and not a particularly interesting design

Daniel’s evaluation Strength: It small so its easily manoeuvrable Weakness: Could be too small for somebody's hand

Conclusion – What have you learnt about your design and what improvements will you take forward.

These are my developed models for my Game packaging. I modelled them using a combination of CAD and hand techniques. Through modelling I want to test •

How the case will open and close

How big the title art work need to be

If the disc will be held securely.
