FALL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Fall Leadership Conference T
he officers of our Masonic lodges, along with their counterparts in the Grand Lodge, convened the 20th Fall Leadership Conference at the 4-H Conference Center in Front Royal, Virginia, on September 15-16. There, some 120 brethren, in a comprehensive program monitored by the Masonic Education and Service Committee, worked diligently to improve themselves in Masonry. This year the conference focused on ideas designed to build effective lodges. To that objective, invited speakers addressed a number of subjects, including goal setting, planning, and the proper prioritization of lodge duties. Line officers of the constituent lodges had interesting sessions with RWB Mickey Ander and WB Roger Branch, as did the lodge secretaries with WB Dean Clatterbuck and WB Todd Duehring, members of the Grand Secretary’s staff.
A highlight of the conference was the presentation on Saturday morning of a talk by WB S. Brent Morris, editor of the Scottish Rite Journal and the author of a

dition, the Deputy Grand Master detailed his plans and his hopes for the Craft in 2007, and his remarks appear elsewhere in this issue of The Voice of Freemasonry... The 2006 Conference ended on a positive note. It was a conference in which there was an abundance of shared experiences, good fellowship, and positive resolves, all of the ingredients which are prerequisites for fraternal prosperity. ■
