Grampian Fire and Rescue Service

Grampian Fire and Rescue Service serves communities in the North-East of Scotland for the three local authorities in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray. There are full-time fire stations (staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week) in Aberdeen, Peterhead and Elgin and part-time fire stations in thirty-three towns across the area. The Service employs more than 900 people as full-time and part-time firefighters, emergency control room operations, and business support staff. The Service area extends to some 8,700 square kilometres (about 3,360 square miles) and covers a population of about 520,000 people.
