WHO WE ARE The Mid-South Medical Group Management Association (MSMGMA) formed in 1987 when a group of practice managers across Memphis started meeting to discuss common experiences in their offices. The group has now grown to include more than 100 members from the Memphis area. MSMGMA is the premier association for professionals who lead Medical Practices. Through regular inperson educational meetings, networking events, and access to statewide webinars and conferences, our group serves as a powerful resource for Practice Executives.

As Qsource’s CEO since 2007, FitzGerald leads the organization’s strategic growth in the commercial & private sectors, federal and state-based healthcare quality improvement, quality assessment, and health information technology consulting. She piloted the expansion of the organization’s footprint and services in healthcare quality; most recently expanding into Ohio and Florida to conduct external quality review and assessment for Medicaid in those states. Fitzgerald also places a priority on providing direct, face-to-face education and technical assistance for healthcare providers, patients, community partners and healthcare systems in Tennessee. Under her leadership, the organization launched QsourceCares and the QCP community partnership initiative to address the unique needs of local communities. In just two years, the initiative has provided more than $530,000 in community-based grants to local organizations working to improve health outcomes.
