Dr. Holder serves as physician representative for the medical staff, including serving on a number of medical staff and administrative committees, and is involved in credentialing, quality review, performance improvement, physician recruitment and development as well as oversight of day-to-day medical staff operations. She earned a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and completed a Family Medicine residency at the UAMS Area Health Education Center-Northeast in Jonesboro. She has served on the AHEC faculty and also has served as director of the St. Bernards hospitalist program.
Howard is the Chief Nursing Officer for Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW). He is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operations of Nursing/Patient Care services at ACNW. He came from The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio where he served as Director of Pediatric Emergency Services. As a nursing leader, Howard led the leadership team that oversaw the operations for two emergency departments, a center for abused children, a forensic nursing program and a staff of 120 personnel.
