Mr. Joseph Dunkin

O God, you are my God, earnestly do I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. Psalm 63:1-5.

The LORD Calls Us to Glorify and Enjoy Him †Call to Worship: 1 Chronicles 16:23-24, 27-29 & Revelation 4:11 Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!

Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place. Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength! Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him! Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness!

Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created. †“Round the Lord in Glory Seated” †Prayer of Invocation

bondage and slavery to sin, do not give us up to the lusts of our hearts, to dishonorable passions, or to debased minds that do what ought not to be done. Restore those who are penitent according to Your promises fulfilled for us Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for His sake; that we may hereafter live a godly life, fleeing from all idolatry, looking only to you for all good things, and glorifying you alone with our whole heart, mind, soul, and strength; to the glory of Your holy name. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. Assurance of Pardon: 2 Peter 1:2-4 May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. “Blessing and Honor and Glory and Power”

Almighty and most merciful Father; we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep by offending Your holy law. Though you call us to acknowledge, worship, and glorify you, and you alone as the only true God, we have instead followed too much after the idols of our hearts. We have not honored you as God or given thanks to you. We have participated in the world’s futile thinking and the darkness of its foolish ways. We have exchanged your immortal glory for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. O Heavenly Father, through our spotless Lamb who takes away our sins and grants us the righteousness of His faithful devotion, have mercy upon us and grant us true repentance that is in keeping with eternal life. As you have redeemed us out of

Reading of the Law of God: Revelation 15:2-8 And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands. And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations! Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” After this I looked, and the sanctuary of the tent of witness in heaven was opened, and out of the sanctuary came the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes around their chests. And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever, and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.

Eternal God, who makes all things new and who abides forever the same: grant us to go forth into Your world in faith and in Your favor; that, being guided and guarded in all our ways, we may spend our lives in Your service, shining as true lights of Your lovingkindness to the ends of the earth, and finally, by Your grace enter in to the glory of everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Welcome We are delighted to have you worshiping and fellowshipping with us today! Our hope is that as the Word is read and proclaimed, as prayers are lifted up, as hymns and psalms are sung, and as the sacraments are administered, we will glorify and enjoy our Triune God together as his people. Please take a minute to sign our Guest Book on the table in the hall.

Communion Here at Grace, we celebrate communion every Lord’s Day, alternating between morning and evening services. The Lord’s Supper is an occasion for believers in Christ to meet with their Savior by faith, to be strengthened and renewed by him, and celebrate him. All who have been baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who trust alone in Christ as Savior and Lord, are a member in good-standing in a Reformed or Evangelical church, are at peace with their neighbor, and seek strength to live more faithfully, are invited to partake in this holy meal. If you are not a believer, or if you choose not to share in this meal, we invite you to spend this time in prayer. The outer rings of cups contain wine, the inner ring contains juice.

Nursery Care We enjoy having our children worship with us. Should parents need assistance with their young children, we have nursery workers available. A diaper changing station is available in the fellowship room by the restrooms. Please do not hesitate to speak with a Deacon if you have any questions. It is our delight to serve you and your children in any way we can.

The LORD Calls Us to Glorify and Enjoy Him †Call to Worship: Psalm 107:1-2, 4-9; 19:14 Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble . . . Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.

Fill our worship with grace, Lord Jesus Christ, that every thought, word, and deed may be acceptable to you, our Rock and our Redeemer. †“O Praise the Lord, for He Is Good” †Prayer of Invocation
